Radeon R7 360 Max Temp
The temperature in the table above is the absolute maximum temperature (Tmax), as a general rule you have to keep your temps 10-15 degrees lower under load, and 30-40 degrees lower when system is idle.

ReplyDeletemy r7 360 is 50 degree idle. is it air flow problem?
ReplyDelete50 degree is fine...
Deletemy r7-360 is 55-63 in game is that good or bad
ReplyDeleteIt's good.
Deletemine is 88 degree highest on load.. is it safe?
ReplyDeleteunder load is a bit high, but not really alarming...
Deletemine idle is 93 haha
ReplyDeletei have some texures gliches or something like that appearing after some about 120 mins playn in some games and it reach about 68C...is driver or directix problem or my card,it is new....
ReplyDeleteSounds like an card issue, get it checked out if it's still under warranty.
DeleteYou could also try updating the drivers and directx, maybe that will solve the issue.
for exp in call of duty black ops 2 and saints row....other games no problem...can i try to install older vers of drivers?
ReplyDeleteYes you can try older drivers, since you say the problem happens only on some games, it could be a driver issue. Try searching on Google for the problem you may find a solution if other people experienced it.
ReplyDeleteok.ty i will stay in touch
ReplyDeletemine is 25-32 in idle, but in some games with max settings 85-88 is that problem?

ReplyDeleteyes, it's quite normal
Delete50c - 52c idle with 340 rpm fan speed is that okay?
ReplyDeleteI don't think that is good.
DeleteI'm using gigabyte's r7 360 oc edition.
ReplyDeleteI notice 80-82 degree while playing sniper elite 3 and 65-75 degree while playing world war z.

Hi my r7 360 is hitting 95°C temp when playing heavy games, is that normal?
ReplyDeleteHi. Yeah, it's pretty normal, although not quite safe if you're hitting 95. I do say normal since 'til a couple of days ago and for a long time I've had this card on two different systems, so I know the higher the load, the higher the power draw, the higher the temp (this is for pretty much anything that does computing) and on this particular GPU it can get quite of control. First of all check it for dust on the fan and replace thermal paste. Once you've done that, start undervolting from AMD's Adrenaline software(I won't cover that here, but you can find how). My safest and faster settings were 1100Mhz@1040mV (I did overclock it too while lowering the temps) although I could lower it to 1020mV. This might be different for your particular card so it's just for reference. However, for heavier games/loads I had to add an extra fan to it in order for it to operate under 80. I believe this happens because while this card is quite capable nowadays it was designed to old 10 year old games, so while it can manage newer games it does it at the expense of incredibly high power consumption and, therefore, high temperatures. It never gave me a real problem when running an older system or older games. You can also lower the resolution to 720p, that will give it less load, but I still recommend undervolting and adding a chassis fan next to it, mine was perpendicular because my case allowed it, but if yours doesn't there are case slot adaptors for 120mm fans to mount above it, although I cannot speak for how good they do in that setup.
